The Chubb 4L67E's hardened steel 18mm deadbolt automatically deadlocks on closing the door, providing convenience with high security.

High security features in the design include drill, saw, pick and torque resistance and an internal lockable handle. This makes the 20mm Chubb rim lock ideal for all types of front doors in particular glazed doors, as the lockable handle cannot be operated through a smashed window.

British Standard BS3621 Approved Lock
Features
  • Tested and certified to BS3621: 2004 the Chubb 4L67E has a backset of 60mm and is designed for use on inward opening doors.
  • Incorporating a slam action square hardened steel bolt which automatically deadlocks.
  • A 10 disc Ava mechanism allows for 50,000 key variations to eliminate opening by manipulation or false keys.
  • The outer cylinder and lock case are protected from drill attack by hardened steel plates and pins, whilst the specially designed cylinder will restrict torque attack.
  • As an added security feature the internal knob can be locked which is a particular benefit if fitted to a glazed door.
  • Supplied in simulated brass finish lock case and cylinder.
  • Supplied with 3 keys.
  • Now with larger bolt throw.

Product received in good order but the next day delivery did not materialise. It is likely that Discount Locks did not factor in that the next day was Good Friday and the packet did not arrive until the Tuesday.

Moved to new house and concerned about number of door keys that may exist so wanted a new lock with little work.
Discount Locks had a new identical lock so work content satisfied.  Lock was delivered next day and this included the production of extra keys.
