The Chubb 5 Lever 3G114 Deadlock is locked or unlocked by key from either side. Chubb 3g114 deadlock Can be supplied with microswitches for use with alarm systems. This deadlock comes Supplied with matching escutcheons. This lock has a 5 lever mechanism. Can be keyed alike, supplied with a total of 3 keys. Case comes in a silver finish and forend comes in either brass or satin chrome finish.

Bought to replace 3G114 bought about 25 years ago which was getting worn out. Decided to upgrade to model conforming to updated BS. It is marginally larger requiring the mortice in the door to be made slightly deeper but this was quite easy. I realised that the bolt was longer in the new model but had not realised that it was also wider (top to bottom) so more timber needed to be chiselled out to accommodate the new box striking plate than I anticipated, but again quite easy.
