Purchase of Combination Lock |

I received the lock within a few days. It is just what I expected, as I wanted a combi lock with very clear numbers. The reason for this is that it would be used under a steel weatherproof cowl, which makes it difficult to read numbers on most standard combi locks because of the low light conditions. I think it is an ideal unit, but some of the users were more familiar with a standard brass combi lock and even though difficult to use, find the new lock more difficult. I am hoping they give it a fair trial, as I am sure, with a bit of practice it should be fine. A couple of comments were; 'The lugs make it awkward!' I think they are a good feature. 'The numbers spin too easily.' I don't think so.
As I say, I think it is ideal and it will help the majority of users operate it easier than the original.
