Yale PBS1 & PBS2 Auto Deadlocking Rim Lock
The Yale PBS is one of the few insurance-rated nightlatches on the market. In addition to automatically deadlocking when the door is in the closed, the inside handle can be locked by a turn of the key. Entry can always be gained by key, from outside, whether the inside handle is locked or unlocked.
Standard & Narrow Width Latch
The Yale PBS nightlatch is available in 2 sizes to suit different door stiles. The PBS1 has a body width of 89mm and the PBS2 has a body width of 69mm. Both versions have a body height of 90mm. A security cylinder pull is provided with each size and must be fitted to the door. The pull is designed to foil attempts to pick or drill the cylinder and is an integral part of the BS3621 approval. Removing it during installation invalidates the insurance rating of the lock.
