Typographical Errors
In the event that a Ultimate Locks Ltd product is mistakenly listed at an incorrect price, Ultimate Locks Ltd reserves the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. Ultimate Locks Ltd reserves the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, Ultimate Locks Ltd shall issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.
Term; Termination
These terms and conditions are applicable to you upon your accessing the site and/or completing the registration or shopping process. These terms and conditions, or any part of them, may be terminated by Ultimate Locks Ltd without notice at any time, for any reason. Ultimate Locks Ltd's failure to insist upon or enforce strict performance of any provision of these terms and conditions shall not be construed as a waiver of any provision or right. Neither the course of conduct between the parties nor trade practice shall act to modify any of these terms and conditions. Ultimate Locks Ltd may assign its rights and duties under this Agreement to any party at any time without notice to you.
Use of Site
Harassment in any manner or form on the site, including via e-mail, chat, or by use of obscene or abusive language, is strictly forbidden. Credit/Debit Card Charge-back Policy Ultimate Locks Ltd operate several on-line stores, information about these is listed in the "About us" section of the individual stores, in the event of customers doing charge-backs on a card transactions of any kind, for reasons that they do not recognise the transaction name, Ultimate Locks Ltd reserve the right to recharge these transactions plus an administration fee of £10 or 10% whichever is greater. It is up to you the customer to carry out due diligence regarding any purchases you have made from the Internet and make sure that whatever shows on your statement is checked against our other trading names before thinking about raising a charge-back. Dependant upon your method of payment and the store you made the purchase from it could show as either of the following names: Discount Locks, Ultimate Locks Ltd, Ideal Home Store, the actual store name or something similar. Returns Policy
We strive to supply goods in excellent condition. We will repair or replace (for free) any item found defective or damaged before delivery or during unloading. This is in addition to your manufacturer's guarantee.
All goods can be returned under the Distance Selling Regulations.
You are required to notify us in writing or other durable means within 7 days of receipt of goods, following this period all rights to cancel will expire.
Upon expiration of the cancellation period, returns are accepted at our discretion. In this instance our companies standard returns charges will apply as detailed below. This does not affect your Statutory rights.
Before returning a item to us, you must complete the on line returns form to obtain a returns authorisation code. If you return an item without this code clearly marked on the packaging we cannot replace it or refund any money. We will also give the returns address specific for your product.
All returns most be made within 7 Days of receipt of the goods. We do not accept returns after 7 days unless the goods are faulty.
Although every effort is made to deliver your goods in perfect
condition unfortunately sometimes for reasons beyond our control
damages can occur, in this event please make sure you follow the
instructions below.
Please make sure you
thoroughly check your delivery prior to signing for it, as any damage
to boxes or items may not be able to be claimed for unless signed as "DAMAGED" upon receipt.
We cannot accept return of products which are damaged after delivery.
Discount Locks will pay the cost of return carriage for goods sent in error and faulty goods.
The customer is responsible for the cost of return carriage, plus an additional 25% restocking charge of the invoice value or a minimum of £10.00 will be levied on Goods 'not wanted' or 'incorrectly ordered' or due to duplication resulting from a 'confirmation' order not being endorsed to that effect, You must inform us within seven days from receipt of the goods for a return number to be issued under this category.
If items are returned after 7 days from date of customer receipt, a late fee (10% of sale price) will be charged. Items returned after 14 days will not be refunded.
Customers must also ensure that when returning goods: Place goods inside a box and attach return label to box and not product MPL's to be taped to a plank of wood (Label attached to the plank of wood and not item) Enclose a copy of invoice and reason for return
All items returned as faulty are liable to manufacture inspection. We cannot guarantee replacement or credit: a warranty repair may be given.
Products that have been specially adapted or customised for you cannot be returned. (For example Locks that have been keyed alike or master keyed.)
The goods must not have been fitted, installed or used in any way.
The goods must be unmarked and free from blemishes of any kind, and returned in a saleable condition.
Time scales For reporting problems Customers are required to report problems to us within a fair and reasonable time scale. Please see the table below.
